Producr Information wedged wire screen pipes are widely used as filtration unit for water wells and oil/gas wells. they are the dominant screen type used in the water well industry. this type of screen is produced by winding cold rolled triangular V-shaped wire around a circular array of longitudinal rods, the wire is welded to the rods and forms a rigid unit that has high strength and minimum weight. wedged wire screen pipes have V-shaped openings which have a smaller inlet outside while bigger outlet inside, then oversized particles are retained outside the screen and particles passing through the opening can enter the screen.
Technical Parameters The wedged wire for the screen can have different thickness and width to suit various strength application, meanwhile, the spacing of individual slots can be varied upon users' detailed requirements.
