Not too heavy but not lightweight or cheap feeling, this is a sturdy set. Not even a hint of flex on the fork tines and they have a great hand feel. I did notice they are quite a bit longer than our current set as well as other sets I've compared them to but it's not noticeable during use. There are forty pieces, which include eight salad forks, eight dinner forks, eight knives, eight teaspoons, and eight tablespoons. Now we usually won't have that many people at the dinner table at once, but the next party we have I'm gonna bust out the whole set. Each piece is shiny and reflective, although it is prone to fingerprints but that's not a big deal. They have a nice weight to them so I know they weren't made cheaply.
