Why should we give more importance to floating solar panel inverters? I could not locate any floating solar inverter except the one in Switzerland which is a research plant. We need not go after any proposal which is not debated in public. India is a Sovereign Democratic Republic with a written Constitution. Media is the FOURTH ESTATE.
We have proven practices like Feed in Tariff which can be adopted with suitable modifications. Every state has the right to decide FIT. State Regulatory Commission is empowered to decide the FIT vide Section 86 of Indian Electricity Act 2003. We established a solar inverter energy centre in Delhi in 1982. No appreciable outcome noticed from this establishment. We had a massive vision for solar harvesting -100000 MW by 2022 and 200000 MW by 2030 as per media reports. Let us follow this vision and solve our energy deficit.

I agree that power theft is rampant. Making grid dead is not the solution. Handle Energy Theft in accordance with our Constitution. We can pass stringent LAW to stop theft of energy. As I said earlier electricity is an essential item like food and water. Let us generate it in abundance from the infinite solar inverter source. Adopt proven practices. We don't have time to wait for the result of R&D. Primary requirement for industrialization is energy. Let industrialization progress faster without any restriction of power inverter supply.
