This adapter is used for connecting trash pumps and vacuum trucks to suction hose assemblies and discharge hose assemblies.  Type A cam and groove fitting has a straight body with two openings for connecting two hoses or pipes with cam and groove fittings or threads. It has One male groove adapter end for connecting to female cam couplers and one NPT female threaded end for connecting to an NPT male threaded connection (Type A). Hose fittings are components used for connecting,terminating,controlling,and changing the direction of flow in piping and hose systems in many different industries.
