Yes, the "rain resistant" has been tested. Silicone case protect FS1011 from shock, dirt and rain. The Solar charger is rain-resistant, not water proof. When you are outside, rain covers FS1011, it's fine. you need not to worry about it. But if it drops into water unexpectedly, please do nothing but dry it immediately, it will function well after being dried.
