1. Preparation Clearing: clearing the existing pavement for construction. Sealing: recommended to seal cracks more than 5mm using crack sealant. Repairing: using cold pothole to repair potholes. Bleeding: if sever, mill is recommended before paving. Weather: above 0°C, no wet day. [NOTE] Micro - Pavement is intended as a surface treatment to be paved on structurally sound pavement and not used for poor structure strength pavement. 2. Pavement It is suggested to use a paver with capability of paving 0.7-1.2cm ultrathin overlay to finish the pavement. For package mixture, mixture should better be delivered by delivery truck 0.5-1h before paving pavemnet, mixture also could be poured into paver hopper directly assisted by a lifter. Mixture also could be poured from package to pavement in situ, and paved manually for partly paving. 3. Compaction Compaction of the wearing course is carried out using 6-10 passes of a double drum roller of sufficient weight to properly seat the aggregate without crushing it, 0.5-6h after paving. 4.Open traffic Time to open traffic is up to ambient weather thus it is better trial to determine but no less than 3h. Partly paving can open traffic 3h after paving, then compacted by vehicle load. Successful Projects
