The design of RX gasket utilizes the internal system pressure to create high seating stress. The sealing efficiency improves as the pressure increases.   Style BX:   Style BX ring joint gasket are pressure energized, square cross sectioned octagonal gasket for use in API 6BX flanges in pressures aur to 20,000PSI. All BX gasket have an equalizing hole which allows pressure to be balances evenly.
