The main purpose

Polymerization: latex or acrylic monomer polymerization solution, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride and other products of the initiator, but also styrene, propylene, butadiene and other milk copolymerization initiation initiator.
Metal treatment: metal surface treatment (eg in semiconductor manufacturing: cleaning and etching of printed circuits), activation of copper and aluminum surfaces.
Cosmetics: The main ingredient in bleach recipes.
Textiles: Desizing agents and bleaches are especially low temperature bleaching.
Others: Chemical synthesis.
             Water purification.
             Exhaust gas treatment, oxidative degradation of hazardous substances (eg mercury).
             Disinfectant.
             Paper (low temperature bleaching especially in pulping).

Application

PPS is a suitable initiaor for the emulsion or solution polymerisation of acrylic monomers, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride etc. and for the emulsion copolymerisation of styrene, acrylonitrile, butadiene etc.. PPS is also a kind of oxidizing agent:
(1) Used in cleaning and pickling of metal surfaces.
(2) Used in accelerated curing of low formaldehyde adhesives.
(3) Used in modification of starch, production of binders and coating materials.
(4) Desizing agent and bleach activator.
(5) An essential component of bleaching formulations for hair cosmetics.

Storage and use Note
   
  Potassium persulfate is non-flammable, but because of the release of oxygen and combustion, it must be stored under certain conditions. First of all must be stored in a dry, closed containers, followed by direct sunlight should be avoided, heat, moisture and other unfavorable factors. In addition, some impurities such as dirt, rust, a small amount of metal and reducing agent may cause the decomposition of potassium persulfate in the storage and use of the process must also pay attention. Since wet potassium persulfate powder and its aqueous solution are bleached and slightly corrosive, the eyes, skin and clothing should be avoided from direct contact with them during use.
