Description

The uncoiling temperature of POLYKEN955 Tape should meet the specified temperature of adhesive tape

manufacturer. It is advisable to use special winding machine or manual winding machine for winding

construction. When wrapping adhesive tape, if there may be gaps on both sides of the weld, the filler material

supplied by the adhesive tape manufacturer shall be used to fill both sides of the weld. When the spiral welded

pipe is wrapped around the POLYKEN955 Tape , the direction of the POLYKEN955 Tape should be the same

as that of the weld.

Backing : Special blend of stabilized polyethylene

Adhesive : Butyl rubber and Adhesion Promoting Resins
