PEI, an amorphous high performance polymer, not only have high mecchancial properties, also have good heat resistance and chemical stability(continuous operating temperature is about 170°c) as well as high dimensional stability and creep resistance. Unique toional strength among all thermoplastic plastic has made it a cheap substitution of small steel cutting parts.
