Nbram (NR) series phlogopite mica tape with glass cloth singleside, is compounded with phlogopite paper and glass fiber cloth,the adhesive is silicone resin, which is mainly used as refractorythermal insulation between core wire of fire-resistant cable andcasing. The temperature resistance of NR series mica tape is above800°C,the thickness ranking is between 0.08-0.15mm. Thefire-resistant test shows that, conductor wire entwined withNR-J-GS mica tape warrants no puncture within 3 hours undertemperature of 800°C and voltage of 1500V. Featured by goodflexibility with maximum single coil length up to 2000m, as well ashigh tensile strength, NR mica tape is suitable for use inhigh-speed cable cladding in the production of electric cable
The NR series mica tape has good properties such as fireresistance and acid, alkali, corona and radiation resistances. Thefire resistant mica has complete in-combustibility and high heatresistance. The fire resistant mica tape used in the cablestructure with heat proof plastic sheath can reduce and prevent thegeneration and dispersion of the toxic smoke and gas during theburning of the cable
