Product description
Usage: power station
Output: steam
Suitable for biomass fuels
Advanced water-cooled vibrating grate
Runh Power is able to supply biomass boilers of various capacities, satisfying various requirements of customer
Biomass boilers can be specially designed to burn biomass fuels like corn stalk and straw, cotton stalk, wood chips, pellets, sawdust, wheat straw, barley straw, rice straw, bark and bagasse
Besides, multiple fuels with coal are also allowed
Core technology:- Vibrating grate (HVB) water-cooled combustion technology:
- This water-cooled vibrating grate has proven to be robust and highly efficient through more than 10 years of operation
- Grate was specially developed for fuels with little or almost no ash content, but also works very well with fuels containing ash
- Distinguished by very high degree of utility, low maintenance costs and minimal wear on component
- Unique design for smooth operation:
- Grate consists of two or four panel walls mounted on leaf springs
- These panels are activated in pairs, in counter phase by vibrating unit
- This is simple construction without internal moving parts to ensure smooth and long time operation
- Grate can be supplied with specially formed cast steel top plates for firing fuels with high content of low melting point metals such as RDF and demolition timber
- Optimal conditions for airflow control:
- Primary combustion air is injected through holes in fins of grate panel
- Pattern of these holes can be custom designed to meet demand for primary air as determined by specific fuel
- This, combined with independence of air flow for cooling, gives optimal conditions for air flow control, staggered combustion and there by NOx emission control
- Integrated part of boiler:
- As standard, grate panels are supplied with water from drum and act like any other evaporating surface in boiler pressure part
- Other high or low pressure cooling cycles can be adopted in order to optimize overall plant performance
Specifications:- Ideal for burning most types of biomass, RDF and other solid recovery fuels
Properties:
- Heat release rate up to 2.5MW
- Suitable for wide range of boilers within 10-170MW
- Possible to burn fuels with high moisture content
- Efficient water cooling results in less wear and ensure long operating life
- High availability, low maintenance costs and low spare part consumption
- High flexibility due to multiple water cooling options
- Air flow through grate can be optimized for combustion
