PCX lenses are used for focusing beams in telescopes, collimators or condenser systems, optical transceivers or other applications. Plano Convex Lenses are Optical Lenses with a positive focal length. Plano Convex Lenses are ideal for light collimation or for focusing applications utilizing monochromatic illumination, in a range of industries including industrial, pharmaceutical, robotics, or defense. PCX Lenses have one convex surface. For maximum efficiency, the second, plano (flat) surface should face the desired focal plane. Plano Convex lenses are commonly used in a wide range of applications or industries. Plano-Convex Lenses is best used where one conjugate point (object distance S or image distance S' ) is more than five times the other. This lens shape is near best-form for either focusing collimated light or for collimating a point source. A plano-convex lens is compose of a plane and convex surfaces, has a positive focal length. It is suitable for collecting and focusing light, and is a ideal optical element in the application of emitters, detectors, lasers, and fiber optics.
