On
December 22nd of 2009, the first self-propelled semi-submersible vessel
with a large tonnage named [The road of hope", designed and built in
China, was smoothly launched in Tianjin Binhai New District. [The road
of hope" semi-submersible vessel was 156m in overall length, 36m in mold
width, 10m in depth, the largest submerge depth is 19m with the maximum
load of 20,000 t and a launching weight reaching 12,900 t.
