1.Ball Mill's Introduction: The ball mill is a key equipment for regrinding. It is widely used in the mining, new type building material, glass, ceramics and etc. According to different forms of discharging materials,it can be divided into tabular type and flowing type .And there are two ways of grinding :the wet process and the dry process. The wet process means that the materials are grinded with water ,while the latter not. This machine is made up of feeding part ,discharging part,gyre part,transmission part(decelerator,small transmission gear,generator,electrical control )and so on .The hollow axis adopts the cast steel and the rotary big gear is processed from cast rolling gear .The barret body wears well and bears wearable scaleboard 2.Ball Mill's Working principle: The ball mill is composed of horizontal cylinder, hollow shaft and grinding head. The long cylinder which was made of steel was equipped with grinding system. The grinding system usually is steel ball. It will be placed into the cylinder according to different diameter and certain percentage. The grinding system also can be steel bars. Material goes into the cylinder through the feeding inlet. The shell rotates which generates eccentricity, this force brings ball to a certain height and then balls drop down by gravity, the impact is the grinding force to the materials.3.Ball Mill's Classification: 1) According to the length and diameter of the cylinder, the ball mill machine can be classified as the following types: (a)Short ball mill; (b)Middle length ball mill;(c) Long ball mill.
(2) According to whether it can be successive operated, the ball mill machine is divided into continuous grinding machine and intermittent grinding machine.
(3) According to its transmission way, it is sorted as centre drive grinding machine and Edge transmission grinding machine.
(4) According to its discharging way, it can be divided as the end discharge type ball mill and the Middle discharging type ball mill.
(5) According to the shape of the grinding medium, it is classified as the ball mill, the rod mill, and the gravel mill.
(6) According to its operating processes, the classification is as below: Dry grinding machine and Wet grinding machine. a.Quartz Sand Ball Mill: Ball mill is a critical equipment in the quartz sand production. In the processing of quartz sand for glass and ceramics industry, raw materials needed to avoid contamination by other substances, usually with silica liner or white alundum liner, grinding media also need to use White alundum ball or silica ball. Therefore, SiO2 is the main component of two types of liner and grinding media, avoiding contamination of the processing materials. Can overflow type or grid type, long or short type, wet ball mill or dry ball mill, sieving grading to control the particle size of materials needed. b.Limestone Ball Mill: Limestone ball mill is an efficient tool for grinding many materials into fine powder. It is used to grind many kinds of mine and other materials, or to select the mine. It is widely used in building material, chemical industry, etc. There are two ways of grinding: the dry process and the wet process. It can be divided into tabular type and flowing type according to different forms of discharging material. c.Cement Ball Mill: Cement mill is also named as raw material mill, ball mill, clinker mill, or material grinding mill. It is key equipment used for grinding after crushing and its widely used in other manufacturing industries such as glass ceramics, nonferrous metal, ferrous metal, fertilizer, refractory material, new building material, silicate, and cement. It can also be used in wet and dry grinding for grind-able materials and all kinds of ores. 4.Ball Mill's Installation:
1. The Ball Mill should be installed in the horizontal concrete ground and fixed with anchor bolts.
2. When installing the Ball Mill, it is essential that the mill body must be vertical to the horizon.
3. After the installation, checking if there is any loose bolt and the door of the main body has been fastened. If not, please fasten it.
4. Equipping the Tube Ball Mill with correspondent power cord and control switch according to its power type.
5. When the inspection is completed, carrying out zero-load test. If there is no problem, then equipment could be put into operation.
