Comensflex 8290 is a single component pu (polyurethane) adhesive sealant for marine deck joint sealant. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Comensflex 8290 satisfies all the requirements Of the ISO 9001/14001 quality assurance System.

PROCESS REFERENCE 1).   Preparation  Clean the surface of joint with a strong jet of a compressed air, sandblast, or solvent to ensure the surface being clean, dry, free of oil, grease, and of sound quality.  2).Activating/Priming: Activators and/or primers may be required to achieve optimal adhesive performance depending on the nature of substrates. 3) Application of sealant:   Cut tip of the nozzle to desired shape and size (triangular bead recommended). Puncture airtight seal. Install with hand operated or compressed-air gun and extrude the sealantinto the joint, avoiding air entrapment. The suitable temperature for substrate and sealantis between 15℃ and 25℃. Remove excess  sealant using proper tools such as hard rubber plate within the tack-free time.      6.
