Characteristics
Silica gel is a highly active adsorption material. It belongs to amorphous materials. The chemical formula is mSiO2 & # 8226; NH2O. It is insoluble in water and any solvents, non-toxic tasteless, stable in chemical properties. It does not react with any material in addition to the strong alkali, hydrofluoric acid. Various types of silicone forms different microporous structure because of the different manufacturing methods.
