With the flow controllers DW 181, 182, 183 and 184, KROHNE offers the ideal flow control solution for virtually any process connection.The G display enables visual monitoring of the flow via a 10-point scale. The switching point can be changed at any point along the way. The A display allows a more accurate reading of the flow value (e.g. in l/h or in m3/h) via a scale. With this display, the switching points can be set even when there is no flow.

The DW 181 is an inline flow controller for locally indicating the flow of homogeneous clean liquids without auxiliary power. It is suitable for horizontal or vertical pipes. The flow controller can have G or NPT threaded connections with sizes ranging from sup>3⁄4...2". The measuring tube and connection are made of either bronze or stainless steel (1.4404 /316 L). Two types of indicator are available: a linear scale with up to two alarm positions at the top and bottom of the indicator or a dial.
The DW 181 is particularly suitable for cost-effective flow detection in various applications where high accuracy is not required. It can deal with flows of up to 30,000 l/h or 132.09 GPM (US). There is also a high-temperature version on offer for operating conditions up to +300°C / +570°F. The DW 181 is available as non-hazardous, intrinsically safe and explosion-proof version.
The DW 183 is an inline flow controller for locally indicating the flow of homogeneous clean liquids without auxiliary power. It is suitable for horizontal or vertical pipes. The DW 184 is an insertion-type flow controller for checking the flow velocity of liquids without auxiliary power. It is suitable for horizontal and vertical pipes ≥DN250 / 10". The device comes with DN150 (PN16/40) or 6" (ASME Cl 150/300) flanges. The internals are made of stainless steel (1.4404 / 316 L). The indicator is available with a linear scale with alarm positions at the top and bottom.
The DW 184 is particularly suitable for cost-effective flow detection in various applications that don't require high accuracy. It can deal with flow velocities up to 4 m/s or 13.1 ft/s. A high-temperature version can be provided for operating conditions up to +300°C / +570°F. The mechanical flow controller is available as non-hazardous, intrinsically-safe or explosion-proof version.
