Flame retardant (Our blanket is original flame retardant which means it is original flame retardat even don't put any liqudi for special treatment. So our material is more environmental than other flame retardant material.)

Usually the airline blankets could fall into two types: WOVEN & KNITTED

We only produce woven type blanet, these blanket be woven by weft yarn and warp yarn. The material could be polyester, acrylic and wool, and the modacrylic is the most popular material. The weight of these blankets are usually above 170gsm, and these blankets are more resistant to washing(more than forty times), because of it airline company can use them repeatedly. As a result your don't need to buy blanket again and again.  finally you will save money.

The other type of blanket is knitted--fleece and polar fleece, the material for those blanket is only be polyester. The technics make these blankets could be as light weight as 110gsm, due to meet the customer's low budget request those blankets usually only used in economy class, and the light weight make them not as washable as woven blanket, sometimes be used as disposable blanket, as a result airlines have to buy those blanket big quantity to meet huge use amount.

• woven is composed of two or more groups of mutually perpendicular yarn to weave with an angle. Simply say it is multiple yarns cross each other at right angles to form the grain, like a basket.

Modacrylic : It is a synthetic and flame retardant. The fibers are difficult to ignite and will self-extinguish. In addition to a modacrylic's flame retardant properties it has a relatively high durability that is comparable to wool, and some people call it artificial wool because it is as soft as wool but cheaper. The modacrylic has several excellent properties, such as antibacterial activity, bulkiness, softness, wash fastness and so on.
