The inner wall of polyethylene pipe used in coal mine is smooth, the equivalent roughness is 2/5 of steel pipe, and the conveying resistance is small. Under the same conditions, the conveying capacity can be increased by 30%. No compensation is required. The thermal expansion coefficient of polyethylene pipes used in coal mines is slightly higher than that of steel pipes, but the modulus is much lower than that of steel pipes. The expansion effect of polyethylene pipes used in coal mines is rather small, and the material itself can be absorbed. Compensation measures are not needed in the pipeline system.
