Husk and biomass pellet project

Rice husk is the byproduct of rice processing, the weight of which can amount to 20% of the rice. Rice husk is a kind of renewable energy widely used in sugaring or as fuels for industry or home heating. While as the content of combustible is more than 70%, the most important use of rice husk is to use as fuel. Inside the machine, rollers and die are the most important components. There are two types of flat die pellet mills: one is the machine whose rollers rotate while the die keeps stationary, the other is that whose die rotates while rollers keep stationary. The former one is generally known as ZLSP R-type rotating roller pellet mill, which performs extremely well in producing rice husk pellets. The rotation of them will produce a great force. When crushed rice husk enter the space between the two components, the great force will compress the husk into holes on the die. Then pellets will be shaped and cut into uniform size. Finished rice husk pellets are of smooth surface and proper intensity, which are convenient for storage and transportation. The high calorific value of rice husk can be utilized fully when burning.

    From the above chart, we can know that it is an efficient way to make rice husks into pellets. In addition, compared with other raw materials for making pellets, the diameter of rice husks is about 2-3mm, so when they are pelletizing into pellets, they don’t need to be crushed and since the moisture content of rice husks is low, so they are easier to be pressed into pellets.
  Scope of Application:
Our pellet mills are appropriate for compressing a variety of fibrous biomass material: corn (maize) husks, peanut shells, rice husks, corncobs, cotton seed hulls, wheat biproducts, sunflower seed shells, sawdust, cotton stalks, weeds, house refuse, waste plastic and similar types of factory waste. It is also suitable for raw materials which are otherwise difficult to pelletize owing to low bonding ratios. All of organic bacterial manure, organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer can be also pelletized by our machines at low temperatures.
