Product detailed information   Ship building steel plate has a strict control on chemical composition of steel as per requirements of domestic and international shipbuilding standards CCS, GL, BV, ABS, DNV, LR, NK, KR, RINA or GB712. This use of controlled-rolling and controlled- cooling process as per carbon equivalent in hot-rolling leads to stable chemical composition and excellent mechanical properties of the ship steel plate. The surface of ship building steel plates is flat, the edge is even, and the diagonal bias is small. The precision of the ship building steel size is high, and the thickness difference of the same plate is small. The ship building steel, with about 0.1% copper, has a good corrosion resistance. The ship building steel also has a good welding performance with a low carbon equivalent.
