PRODUCT PURPOSE

 

ECO Laundry Generation II is an environmentally friendly appliance intended for using in a residential laundry facility.

ECO Laundry Generation II is designed to work with your washing machine, adopts magnetizing principle to treat the tap water firstly, then mixed active oxygen and silver ions into the magnetized water used for laundry.The processed water can wash clothes cleanly and kill bacteria on clothes without leaving any residual detergent.

ECO Laundry Generation IIhas the main functions as below:

The operation of ECO Laundry Generation II is easy and convenient. As long as you install ECO Laundry Generation II properly, you simply need to operate your washing machine following manufacturer’s operation instructions. ECO Laundry Generation II will start working automatically when the washing machine starts to work, and it will automatically turn off when the washing machine stops operation.

USE & SAFETY CONSIDERATION

 

Before using, please read the User’s Manual carefully.
 

Disconnect ALL power before servicing.

Do not operate the unit with the cover removed.

Maximum water inlet pressure is 75psi.

Use the supplied new hose when connect the ECO Laundry Generation II unit to your washing machine. You should replace any existing washing machine hose that is more than 2 years old, with a new one.

To prevent leakage caused by back-flow from the washing machine, do not leave your water hose disconnected. Simply turn the water off at the valve / faucet on the wall, leaving the hose connected.

Use a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not clean your ECO Laundry Generation II with harsh chemicals, abrasives or cleansers.

Do not mount the ECO Laundry Generation II unit vertically or at an angle.
 

ECO Laundry Generation II is designed for residential use only and is not intended for use in a commercial or industrial setting.

ECO Laundry Generation II can work normally in the temperature category 0℃~78℃, without components breakdown.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Electrical Requirements

 

ECO Laundry GenerationII requires 120Volt 60Hz power on a 15amp fuse or Circuit Breaker.

A dedicated electrical circuit, equipped with an approved GFCI outlet, is recommended for supplying power to your ECO Laundry Generation II.

NEVER use an extension cord or a power adapter other than the one provided with ECO Laundry Generation II.

 

Water Requirements

Water pressure of 10 to 75psi is required to correctly operate your ECO Laundry Generation II.

To avoid the possibility of water damage (i.e. a hose leak) it is recommended that you always turn off the water supply valves/faucets when the washing machine is not in use.

Water quality may affect the performance of your ECO Laundry Generation II. If you have water quality concerns, such as high content, consult a water filtration expert.

 

INSTALLATION

 

ECO Laundry Generation II will offer a metallic plate, a power adapter, 4-1/4 tapping screws, a hose, a wrench, and a screwdriver as accessories.

1. The ECO Laundry Generation II should be fastened to the wall, just above and behind your washing machine. First, fix the metallic plate on the wall. The metallic plate has three mounting holes, together with 3 anchor screws. Fasten the metallic plate on the wall with the anchor screws to support the product.

2. Before installation, do not open the unit. There are 3 sockets on the bottom of the unit.Collimate the 3 sockets in the holes of the metallic plate, pull downward slowly, and then the unit is hanging over the metallic plate.

3. Ensure that metallic plate is horizontal. Tilt installation may affect the product operation and visualization.

4. Connect the water inlet on the ECO Laundry Generation II to the cold water supply faucet; and connect the water to you washing machine with the supplied hose. Make sure rubber washers are properly installed in both ends of the hose before connection. Properly tighten the hose to the inlet fitting, but do not over tighten.

5. Plug the supplied power adaptor into the DC adaptor plug-in on the side of the ECO Laundry Generation II unit and then plug the adapter into the wall outlet. Disconnect the power adapter when not use the unit.

 

System Set Up

 

1. Turn on the water valve/faucet. Check the connections to ensure that there is no leakage or dripping. Tighten the hose connections, if necessary, but DO NOT over tight.

 

2. Connect power adapter, and then start your washer. Once the water begins to flow, the blue light of the ECO Laundry Generation II should begin to glow and your washing machine will begin to run through the normal cycles.

 

INDICATORS AND ALARM SYSTEM

Indicator Light

 

The Indicator light, viewed through the window in the front of the ECO Laundry Generation II has three states.

A blue light indicates the normal operating condition of ECO Laundry Generation II.

A flashing red light indicates the fan or ozone generator is not operating properly.

A steady red light indicates that the Silver Ion Probe is not working or has been consumed, as a product of normal usage. The consumed Silver Ion Probe should be replaced with a new one. Please contact with our Customer Service team for the replacement.

 

Alarm

 

Your ECO Laundry Generation II is equipped with an internal leak detector. If a leak happens to develop on the inside of the unit, the water will accumulate on the bottom panel. The sensor will set off an audible alarm and will automatically turn the unit off. This alarm will continue to buzz until the leak is stopped and/or the unit is unplugged. If this alarm should occur, you should unplug the unit, turn off the cold water valve and call our Customer Service team for support.

 

DAILY USE OF ECO LAUNDRY GENERATION II

Daily Use

The use of ECO Laundry Generation II is very easy after installed and connected properly. You just need to operate your washer according to the instruction provided by the manufacturer of your washer.

 

Non-use or Vacation Care

Operate your washer and ECO Laundry Generation II only when you are at home. If you are on vacation or won’t be using your washer for an extended period of time, you should unplug the power supplies to both the washer and ECO Laundry Generation II and turn off the water supply. This helps avoid accidental flooding due to a water pressure surge while you are away.

 

Stains

For some serious or special stains, we suggest that you pre-treat them, just as you did before. For normally soiled laundry,  you may not need to use any detergent powder or other detergent.

 

Replacement of Silver Probe

 

Under normal residential usage, the Silver Ion Probe installed in your ECO Laundry Generation II has a life expectancy of approximately one and a half years.

When the indicator light (seen through the window in the front of the unit) turns red, it shows that the Silver Ion Probe needs to be replaced. Please contact our Customer Service team to order a new Silver Ion Probe and replace it as the following step:

1. Turn off the water supply valve / faucet.

2. Turn on the wash machine momentarily to relieve any internal water pressure within the ECO Laundry Generation II unit.

3. Turn off the washing machine and unplug the power adapter of the ECO Laundry Generation II.

4. Push the ECO Laundry Generation II a little higher than the metallic plate, and take it off from the metallic plate.

5. Find the 4 screws holes on the base, unscrew and press the cover, you will see the Silver Ion Probe ( see the structure diagram).

6. Unscrew the Silver Ion Probe with the supplied wrench, and then fix the new one. (Tighten the Silver Ion Probe in order to avoid water leakage.

7. Reconnect the electrical connectors of the new Silver Ion Probe, making sure that the retainer features snap together properly.

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Do tough stains have to be pretreated?

 

We recommend that you continue to treat stains in the same manner as always. Tough stains should be pre-treated in the same method as before using the ECO Laundry Generation II. For normally soiled laundry, the use of the ECO Laundry Generation II will allow you to use less detergent or no detergent at all.

 

Does ECO Laundry Generation II work with all forms of water?

 

ECO Laundry Generation II will work with all household water qualities, but the better the incoming water quality the better the results you will have. If you use hard water, we recommend that you use a water softener for hard water and/ or a pre-filter for chlorine.

 

What types of washing machines can work with ECO Laundry Generation II?

 

ECO Laundry Generation II can be used with all almost any residential machine. There are however two separate models. The High-flow ECO Laundry Generation II is designed for most top load washers that have no restriction in their water intake. The Low-Flow ECO Laundry Generation II is designed for front load washing machines or those that have a restriction in their cold water intake. (High Efficiency Washer)

 

Will the ECO Laundry Generation II work with Commercial Washing Machines?

 

ECO Laundry Generation II is designed and recommended for residential use only, not for any commercial or industrial applications. 

 

Is ECO Laundry Generation II only used with washing machine?

 

Yes, the treated water by ECO Laundry Generation II is only used to launder clothes. The water from your ECO Laundry Generation II is not intended for drinking or ingesting. 

 

What parts will need to be replaced on ECO Laundry Generation II?

 

Silver Ion Probes will need to be replaced when consumed during normal operation and usage. In the average application, under normal usage, the Silver Ion Probe has an expected life expectancy of up to one and a half years. When the indicator light turns red, the Silver Ion Probe should be replaced. Please contact with our Customer Service team to order a new Silver Ion Probe.

 

MAINTENANCE SERVICE

Your ECO Laundry Generation II is warranted to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal household use for a period of (1) year from date of purchase.

The warranty is granted only to the original purchaser and members of his or her immediate household. The warranty is subject to the following provisions. Any damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the Owner’s Manual are not covered by this warranty. Likewise, any defects or damages caused by unauthorized service or the use of other than Genuine Wowtech parts are not covered.

Wowtech will, at its option, repair or replace a defective ECO Laundry Generation II or part(s) for the ECO Laundry Generation II that is covered by this warranty. As a matter of warranty policy, Wowtech will not refund the customer’s purchase price. Please recorder the following Warranty Card when you purchase the unit from Wowtech or the distributor.

To obtain warranty service you must return the defective ECO Laundry Generation II or ECO Laundry Generation II parts along with proof of purchase to Wowtech or Wowtech Authorized Warranty Station. All transportation charges on parts, or units, submitted under this Warranty shall be borne by purchaser. Unless this Warranty is expressly renewed or extended by Wowtech, any repaired or replaced part of unit shall be warranted to the original purchaser only for the length of the unexpired portion of the original warranty.
