Description

Rubber plate type expansion joint is using the rubber `s high flexibility to adapt to the change temperature, the bridge deck occurs telescopic deformation. The rubber expansion joint has the characteristic of convenient  installation, smooth driving, waterproof, dustproof,  low noise, light weight, low cost and so on.

The plate rubber expansion joint has good waterproof and dustproof and elastic deformation function. Can effectively protect the internal telescopic device and beam bottom bearing from erosion . It is a telescopic device which set in the upper bridge structure and deck seam  .

Classification

There are two forms of steel plate type expansion joint: One is the zinc tin u-shaped expansion joint,It is normally used on the pavement with low cost and convenient construction; the other is lap joint plate  expansion joints, It has a certain strength to bear big wheel loading , but the durability, driving, shock absorption is poor.  

50 type plate rubber expansion joint

The expansion body in the device of is made up of the sulfide of rubber, steel plate or angle iron  , It is designed and manufactured  by using the principle of rubber low material shear modulus. The shear rubber expansion body is equipped with upper and lower grooves, rubber body burying  bearing steel plate and anchoring steel plate , and setting the reserved bolt hole,through the bolt and the beam end to be a whole. It is depend on the shear deformation of the rubber body  between the upper and lower grooves the to meet the relative displacement of the beam structure. The embedded steel in the rubber expansion body cross beam end clearance to bear vehicle loading. In addition, embedded two pieces of steel plate on both sides of the rubber expansion ,the  structure formatted through the stress principle of the connection of  bolt and  the beam end , it is generally applicable to the highway bridge engineering that the expansion amount is less than 50 mm.
