High voltage HVC automatic reactive compensation device is the device which automatically adjusts reactive power and improves system reactive power according to grid and loading conditions. In the case of enough compensation capacity, it can improve system power factor to over 0.9. High voltage HVC automatic reactive power compensation device mainly consists controller, cabinet body, capacitor integrated protector, vacuum contactor, series electric reactor, parallel capacitor, discharge coil, zinc oxide arrester, isolation switch, fuse auxiliary equipment, electric relay, busbar, indicating instrument, high voltage insulator, steel frame, multi-door electrical and mechanical linkage locking device, etc. High voltage HVC automatic reactive power compensation device applies full-intelligence control and microcomputer inspection to optimize switch mode and ensure optimum operation for equipment control. Controller inspects grid power factor. When inspected reactive current value exceeds setting value, control high voltage vacuum contactor to input capacitor bank according to the control signal given by grid power factor. When loading reactive current value is under setting value, controller gives a control signal to make high voltage vacuum contactor cut off capacitor banks. Capacitor banks stop working. Above process is automatically controlled by controller with no need of artificial intervention. Follow compensation loading reactive power and improve loading power factor.
