Pipe cleaners are convenient, flexible, non-abrasive and can reach inside small crevices. They are ideal for cleaning glass pipes, which cannot be disassembled since they usually are all one piece. If pipe cleaners are not available, however, there are other ways of getting to those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies that will leave your glass pipe clean and shiny.

Instructions

Run warm water through the glass pipe. The water could make the pipe slippery so be careful holding it to make sure it does not drop or fracture.
Place a small amount of rubbing alcohol into a plastic sandwich bag. Use enough so that the bottom of the sandwich bag is completely filled and the pipe is mostly covered when placed inside.

Place the bag with the pipe in it inside the microwave and microwave it for 10 seconds. If you put it in for longer, the bag could melt or the pipe could be damaged.
