Application of hammer mill

Hammer Mill is used for crushing medium hardness or brittle materials,such as limestone, coal, filings, iron eyebrow, etc, the maximum compressive strength of material is not more than 1500kg/cm2. The hammer crusher is usually applied to cement,coal, building industry and other departments. 

Working Principle of Hammer Mill

In the  hammer mill , the motor drives the rotor to rotate at a high speed through the belt, and on the rotor there are series of hammers. When the materials get into the working area of hammers, the rotating hammers with high rotation speed are crushing them, the crushed products meeting the required size can be discharged by the outlet and become the final products, the large size products are brought back to the crushing area by the hammers for being re-crushed until they reached the required size.

Installation of Hammer Mill

The hammer mill is amounted to cement concrete basis, shall consider about discharging position when arrange the basis.

1. In order to avoid vibrating cause the effect with building or else, shall fix with hard plate or any vibration-absorptive material .
2. Motor and rotor shaft central shall keep straight in case of sleeve damage and heat.
3. The rotating part is on the right, the position can be adjust as requirement.
