65Mn material name: spring steel. 65Mn standard: GB/T 1222-2007.

65Mn, after heat treatment and cold drawing, the strength is relatively high, and it has certain flexibility and plasticity. Under the same surface state and fully quenched condition, the fatigue limit is equal to that of the colorful alloy spring. But the hardenability is very poor, mainly used for drip point large size springs, such as voltage regulation, speed adjustment, naughty spring, force measuring spring, general mechanical circle, square spiral spring or pull steel wire, as the spring of small machinery.
65Mn low alloy steel must have high elastic limit and high yield ratio, in order to avoid the occurrence of permanent deformation in spring steel under high load; it also requires good hardenability and low decarburization sensitivity, the elastic limit is greatly reduced; and good surface quality, easy processing and forming good heat treatment in the cold and hot state.
