Because of its high saturated fat content it is slow to oxidize and, thus, resistant to rancidification, lasting to two years without spoiling.  Many health organizations advise against the consumption of high amounts of coconut oil due to its high levels of saturated fat.         Virgin coconut oil can be extracted through "dry" or "wet" processing.  A mechanical centrifuge can be   used in "wet" processing for refining the coconut crude oil. Generally the model DHC series (3 phase, liquid-liquid-solid separation)of FUYI disc stack centrifuges be used in order to achieve the pure virgin coconut oil.    Advantages of "wet" process are as follows: 1.
