It is 0.7MM thickness and almost two times thicker than most PASTRY mats which is only 0.4MM.The 0.4MM mat is too thin and soft .Super Kitchen mat is much thicker and durable ,so it is very hard to crinkle and move as you roll out the dough .And Super Kitchen pastry mat is hard to crinkle as you clean .
