1)Rubber Joint Performance

The Liwei GJQ(X)-SF Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint are double sphere designed with integral rubber flanges for tough, demanding industrial applications, as found in: Chemical/Petrochemical Plants, Industrial Process Piping Systems, Marine Services, Power Generation Plants, Pulp/Paper Plants, Steel Mills, Water/Wastewater and Pollution Control Systems.

Installed next to mechanical equipment or between the anchor points of a piping system to:

(1) Absorb Pipe Movement/Stress
(2) Reduce System Noise
(3) Isolate Mechanical Vibration
(4) Compensate Alignment/Offset
(5) Eliminate Electrolysis,
(6) Protect Against Start-Up Surge Forces.

The Liwei GJQ(X)-SF Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint is a twin sphere design with more length, the supply range is from 32mm to 3000mm, and design pressure can be 1.0MPa/1.6MPa/2.5MPa. Compared to Single Sphere Rubber Joint(GJQ(X)-DF- I, GJQ(X)-DF- II ), mechanical and acoustical performance can be almost double by changing to the most commonly specified twin sphere construction. Twin sphere designs are more flexible and allow greater movement.

2) Rubber Joint Application Range

Equipped with the excellent comprehensive performances of flexible rubber joint, Liwei GJQ(X)-SF Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint can be used for lift and transportation of raw water and sewage, transportation of water supply, cooling cycle water of thermal power plant, condensate water of metallurgy industry and chemical materials of chemical industries, cooling and dilution of oil and chemical industries and flexible connection of other industries.

It is also suitable to transport all grain and powder material and gas for its high abrasive resistance.
In addition, special notifications are hereby conducted for design units and clients so as to ensure the project quality. Please note to install anti-break stop device, if Liwei GJQ(X)-SF Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint are designed to install close to pump exit nozzle and pipes' corner.
