F550 wireless sensor with 12m measure distance zigbee wireless gprs transmission sensor remote monitor fuel level. 1 Overview The F550 is one type of ultrasonic level sensor which measure the air height in the container directly and calculate the level height based on the total height of the container. The resolution is 1mm or 0.1%FS (the bigger value). It is applicable for the close container or open container. Furthermore it can calculate the volume of the container or the liquid. As with RS485, it is easy to integrate into the embedded system or SCADA. In order to realize remote monitoring, there are wireless version for F550, including zigbee, Wifi, GPRS, 3G. Furthermore, GPS module is one optional for the F550. As a result, F550 can be used as gps tracker also.

The ultrasonic transducer should be vertical (90 degree) to the liquid level. The installation should not be near to the side to avoid the ultrasonic beam contact with the side and echo back. The ultrasonic transducer should be try to higher +20cm than the maximum liquid level. (the 0-20cm is the blind area for the transducer). 7.2 Calibration For 0-5V version, the user should measure the total height from the transducer to the minimum level. And use this value to minus the air height value (calculate by the 0-5V output according to the measurement range), then the liquid level is figured out. For RS232/485 version, the user can directly configure the maximum height into the sensor, and the sensor will output the liquid level based on this input value and the air height. Of course, if not input maximum height, the air height is still output. If user want to get the liter in the tank, user should create the table between height and liter through adding fuel and measuring. 7.3 Cases
