Capacity of submerged arc furnace means the capacity of configured transformer (unit is Kva or Mva). The normal furnace capacity is : 3000kva, 6300kva, 8000kva, 9000kva, 10000kva, 12500kva, 15500kva, 16500kva, 18500kva, 22500kva, 25500kva, 31500kva, 33000kva, 36000kva, 48000kva and etc….  and customized is acceptable,  please just let us know the capacity you want to install.   Submerged arc furnace production is continuous operation mode. Its operation follows method of low voltage and large current, and power basically keeps constant during smelting.   Submerged arc furnace could be divided into circular furnace, rectangular furnace and oval furnace according to electrode distribution in furnace and furnace shape, could be divided into ferrosilicon furnace, silicomanganese furnace, ferrochrome furnace, ferronickel furnace, calcium-silicon alloy furnace and calcium carbide furnace etc. according to smelting types; could be divided into fixed-type furnace and rotary-type furnace according to furnace structure; could be divided into open furnace, semi-closed furnace and fully-closed furnace etc. according to smelting modes.   Submerged arc furnace equipment mainly comprise power supply system, material charging system, electrode system, secondary bus bar system, furnace body, fume discharging system, cooling system, hydraulic system, monitoring system, HV & LV electric control system and etc. The auxiliary equipments include batching system, feeding system, furnace front equipment, hoisting device, finished product processing device, de-dusting system, water supply system, gas supply system, electrode shell production and machine maintenance device and laboratory equipment etc. Submerged arc furnace smelting system project also includes plant design (including technology and equipment design), power transmission and distribution system, raw material treatment system, closed furnace flue gas cleaning and flue gas waste heat utilization (power generation) system etc.   Function: Submerged arc furnace mainly is used for producing various kinds of ferroalloy products and chemical industry calcium carbide with reduction method. Select appropriate ore material according to the product to be produced, add certain proportion of other auxiliary materials and proper carbonaceous reducing agent such as coke and coal tar etc. following smelting technology requirements. After batching, send them into furnace to use self-baking electrode to make smelting in submerged arc smelting mode.   Characteristics: 1, Electrical control could realize automatic control operation. 2, Closed furnace roof adopts plate-type water-cooling structure. 3, Secondary bus bar system uses water-cooling copper tube and large-section water-cooling cable, thus effectively reduce current system impedance. 4,It makes use of rotary material distribution belt conveyor or rotary material distribution machine to realize continuous material distribution in top bin on furnace top. 5, Combined holder’s bottom ring, clamping device and protection screen apply water-cooling structure. 6, Brasses-type holder is reliable in conductive contact and could undertake long-term overload operation. 7, Material batching adopts PLC automatic control and uses weighing sensor for weighing, thus material batching is uniform and accuracy is high. The requirements of raw-material for production of ferrosilicon production Silica: The content of SiO should be not less than 96%, formation of slag impurities(AlO, MgO, CaO, etc) quantity should as small as possible, the content of PO cannot be more than 0.02%, should not contain clay impurities, the adsorption content should not be more than 5%, sufficient mechanical strength. Coke: should drying, sieving, particle size is 8-25mm, the granularity of coke should be screen out.Steel scrap: should be rustless, oil-free, non-cast iron turnings.
