COVID-19 Molecular Detection Kit

BioHermes COVID-19 Molecular Detection Kit (SARS-CoV-2 PCR Test) is a real-time RT-PCR test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acids from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal, nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab samples from patients with signs and symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 ; COVID-19 Molecular Detection Kit is a single-well dual targets and one-step real time fluorescent PCR assay, which includes specific primers and probes for ORF1ab and N genes of SARS-CoV-2. The assay has a full-process negative control, positive control and internal control.

The application of this kit includes:

-Assist infection diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 suspected patients;

- SARS-CoV-2 infection screening of high-risk group;

-Rehabilitation evaluation of COVID-19 patients.

Product Features include:

-High sensitivity with LOD of 200 copies/mL

-No cross-reactivity with other pathogen organisms: CoV229E, CovHKU1, CoVNL63, SARS-CoV, MERS or COV OC43

-Compatible to be used with the majority of main-stream PCR platforms

-Flexible to be used with appropriate commercial RNA extraction kits on the market

-dUTP & UDG enzyme carryover prevention system to avoid PCR amplicons contamination

-Internal control system to exclude false-negative results
