Filter presses can be divided into plate and frame type and recessed and plate and are used for solid-liquid spearation of various suspending liquid in intermittent pressure filtration.filter plates are pressed by pressing devices and suspending liquid is pumped into the filter chamber.solid particales and liquid are separated through filter cloth,the products are simple in structure but good in separating effects, convenient in used,and widely applicable to coal washing,inorganic salt,mining,alcohol, petroleum,chemical,dyestuff,metallurgy,medicine,foodstuff,textile,printing  and dyeing,paper making fan dyeing,paper making and sewage treament etc

In the process of operation, press system(piston of the oil cylinder or lead screw drive ) push the head plate, compress the filter plate and filter cloth between head plate and end plate, then the filter chamber is formed between the compressed filter plate and filter cloth. Materials that are pushed by the feeding pump enter into each filter room through feeding hole of end plate. In this way, solid particles will be intercepted in the filter room and formed filter cake. And liquid will discharge from the liquid hole through filter cake and filter cloth. If it needs to wash the filter cake, we can use scouring water by washing hole of the tail-board. If it needs to dry the filter cake, feed into compresses air through washing hole.
