Application   (1.) reactive dye printing:   Sodium alginate is ideal thickener for reactive dye printing.its molecular structure -COONa after ionization in water is negative charge, so it is naturally of anion character. Because reactive dyes has hydroxyl base,such water soluble groups also anion type,means reactive dyes also negative charge,the electrostatic repulsion prevents the binding of reactive dyes and sodium alginate, so improve the printing processing, thus avoid the other thickener’s weak point, like modified starch easy reaction with reactive dyes,influence its fastness in fabrics, less coloring yield and easy lose color after washing.   (2) disperse dye printing paste:   Sodium alginate also widely used in disperse dyes synthetic fabrics printing.
