Sugar production
Sugar cane originates from tropic areas. The areas which can plant sugarcane are very wide. Under high temperature and humidity conditions, sugarcane can be planted throughout the year. The processing products of cane sugar are brown sugar, white sugar, crystal sugar, cube sugar and so on, . Cane sugar can be used for manufacturing tea, coffee, medicine, drinks, biscuit and so on. The product made from cane sugar has lots of advantage, such as high purity, non-toxic, and safety. With the development of the technology, more and more deeply processed products have been manufactured. The cane sugar processing technology will be mature and constantly applied to production practice.
Sugar extracted from sugar cane is processed to become raw sugar at mills and then purified to white sugar in a sugar refinery, using energy intensive processes. But sugar from beet is processed to refined white sugar directly in a been factory. Lots of researches have been conducted on nature of colorants, polysaccharide and inorganic profile of sugar process over the past thirty years. However, there is hardly no priority research for a process for producing the same quality sugar with low energy consumption in a cane sugar factories.
