Cement ball mill main structure & working principle: Cement mill mainly consists of feeding device, discharging device, rotary barrel( installed with wear-resistance liner plate), transmission device( motor,gear box,transmission pinion,coupling,etc),and lubrication station. This mill is horizontal tubular mill,has two or three chambers.Materials will be sent into the first chamber evenly through the hollow shaft by the feeding device. In the first chamber, mill wall is installed with ladder or corrugate liner plates, and filled in different specifications steel balls.By totating the cylinder,grinding balls were carried to a certain height and then fall onto the material to be ground under the force of centrifugal generated by the rotating of cylinder.Thus cause to thumping and grinding effect on the material. After being ground in the first chamber, the material will enter the second chamber through single layer intermediate diaphragm. The second chamber has corrugated liner plates and steel balls inside for further coarse grinding. And then, material will be sent into the third chamber for fine grinding. Finally, end product ill be discharged through grid plates.
To achieve a reasonable efficiency and to control quality of end products,ball mills must be operated in a closed system, with oversize material continuously being recirculated back into the mill to be reduced.Various classifiers, such as screens,spiral classifier, cyclones and air classifiers(powder concentrators) are used for classifying the discharge from ball mills. In dry process cement production plant and clinker girnding plant, we usually choose the powder concentrador for classification.
