Applications:
- Used as raw material in manufacturing of soaps, detergents, textiles and paper
- Also, in water softening and treatment, drilling mud in oil field, refining petroleum products, in sanitation, hygiene products
- In food and drug industry, it is used as acidity regulator, alkali and impregnant’s pigment
Packing:- 25kg plastic woven bags lined with polythene bags, inside with plastic coating bags or 1000kg large bags as buyer required
Handling and storage:
- Caustic soda is highly corrosive substance and requires careful handling
- Should be no contact with bare skin, should be stored under dry conditions away from acids, organic chemicals, metals such as aluminium, tin, zinc, lead and their alloy
