FAQ 1.What different permissions do the different users get? We have three kinds of users including Administrator, Sub Administrator and fleet user. Administrator: system maintenance Sub Adminstrator: Manage multiple vehicle fleets, can create unlimited fleets and vehicles Fleet User: Only can create and manage all vehicles under the appointed fleet. 2. How to know whether the terminal has connected to server or not? Check the corresponding icon on Client. If the icon is green, it means the terminal has connected to server.
3. Why warning information does not show on Client when terminal receives an alarm? Please check "Vehicle Information" to see if the terminal type is correct. For MR688 professional version and MR688 RS232 version, status of “ fatigue alarm”, “no portrait” and “no MR688”, system will have different processes. 4. Why the location of vehicle is not correct? Please check if the setting of coordinate system is correct. ( Please choose GCJ-02 coordinate system if vehicle is in China, choose WGS-84 if vehicle is not in China. There will be location deviation if the coordinate setting is wrong.) 5. Why the position of vehicle is abnormal? The antenna of GPS module must be kept in open field to position successfully. Otherwise, GPS module can’t get the correct position data from satellite and the terminal position is abnormal.
6. Why terminal returns a huge number of position data in a short time? Terminal has the blind area supplement function, when terminal is in GSM blind area, terminal will storage the position data which can not send to server successfully, after re-entering the signal area, terminal will send the storage position data to server in one-time.
7. Why can't I get the history alarm images and fail to grab real time images? “ Devices Picture” and “ Grab Pic”, these 2 functions need terminal online. If offline, can not get images. 8. Why the speed showing on Client is different from the real driving speed? Terminal calculates the speed via GPS location. Data uploaded by terminal has a certain time lag, speed displays on client will have a little lag too. This little discrepancy can not be avoided, but generally does not influence the management of vehicles. The vehicle speed obtained by terminal is still reliable. 9. Why can't I check history data, route and status report? Please make sure you choose an applicable start and end time and the status. 10. How to know the client or terminal version? Client version: Open “ Help”, click “About” on the main interface menu, you will find the version information, named “CarManageClient XX.XX.XX.XX ( Can check if it is the latest version comparing with the version number on Clent installation page).
