Cable chain
Structure:
Drag chain looks like tank chain, consisting of many unit rotating-freely links. Unit link consists of left -and-right link plate and up-and-down cover plate. Each drag can be easily opened and installed, no need threading, just put the electric cable, oil tube, air pipe, water pipe and others into drag chain after opening the cover plate.
Same series drag chain have same inner height, outer height and pitch, but inner width bending radius can have different choice.
Features:
The individual chain links can be connected by a snap connection enabling them to be joined to form a chain of any required length.
Bridge type cable chain can be supplied with or without seperator to guide the cables.
This cable chain can be supplied with the lid hinges open, and various width are available for installation as long as it is the same series with the left-and-right link plate. The internal height will remain the same.
Due to the rigid jointed structure, the chain joint lock in the opposite direction. Enclosed wire can't bend more than fixed bending angles.
The left-and-right link plate can be added with button of various color for more beautiful appearance.
Enclosed type cable chain can provide protection from dirt and debris, such as woodchips or metal shavings.
Material: Reinforced nylon(Flame retardant)
Operating temperature: -40º C(-40F)~250º C(482F)
Data required for selection of cable drag chain:
1. Length of travel which is equal to 2(L - π *R)
2. Number and outside diameter of the cables or hoses to be installed
3. Required minimum bending radius of cables or hoses
4. Weight of cables or hoses
5. Available mounting width on a machine
6. Type of application(dwg. If possible)
Applications
The enclosed electric cable moves along the length of drag chain and this cable chain moves in the moving parts of the machine, improving the life of cable, avoiding the direct stretching in the electric wires, removing traction between wires.
