Material, forming a layer of uniform material film in the heat transfer surface, is dried with the rotating drum and powder or flake products are unloaded at the discharging point by scrapers. Special deigned spreader makes the material film uniform and adjustable in thickness. It is applicable to viscous, pasty and sticky materials. Due to the short retention time of the product at high temperature, virtually no heat damage will occur. Comparing with the direct drying method, which uses hot air for drying; The drum dryer does not need any powder separation device. There is no heat taking away by exhaust gas.
