An ordering example is shown for your reference.         Rotary Manual Actuators   All valves can be furnished with handwheels, chainwheels and bevel gear handwheels and chainwheels. To order rotary manual actuators, add the appropriate code from the sizing table to the basic order code. When ording bevel gear actuators, specify mounting position as second line information.   Actuator Sizing     304 Stainless Steel Superstructure :   The superstructure is carbon steel as standard. To order rotary manual or bevel gear actuators on valves with the 304 stainless steel yoke, replace the "CS" code from the sizing table with the code "S1"       Bevel Gear Handwheel/Chainwheel Actuator   Bevel gear actuators provide vertical mounting of the handwheel or chainwheel, or can be used where space limitation prohibit the use of a standard handwheel or chainwheel. A mechanical advantage makes large valve operation easier and faster.     Mounting :   Bevel gear actuators can be mounted in four positions : standard 90°, 180° or 270° mounting. Specify mounting positions other than standard as second line information.       Manual Actuator Accessories   Handwheel Extension   The extension includes handwheel, non-rising stem, fitting and extensions to allow remote operation normally from above. To order, specify handwheel actuator code, and add extension description as second line information. Specify required extension length from centerline of valve to handwheel. See chart for minimum dimensions.   Position Indicating Floorstand   A floorstand for handwheel actuated valves allows operation from above, Included is handwheel, non-rising stem, fittings, extension, and floorstand with gate position indicator. To order, specify handwheel actuator code, and add floorstand description as second line information. Specify required length from centerline of valve to base of floorstand.   Minimum Dimensions   Minimum dimension from centerline of valve to handwheel when ordered  without floorstand. Minimum dimension from centerline of valve to base of floorstand when ordered with position indicating floorstand.     Chain   For use with chainwheel actuators. Order as a separate item by giving code from table. Specify chain length as second line information.     Locking Device   Available on 3-12" (80-300mm) handwheel actuators as standard. To order as part pf complete valve, add a comma and order code LK after the actuator code.       On-Off Cylinder Actuators   BELL Cylinder Actuators are available with double-acting pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders for on-off positioning service. Supply pressure is 50 or 80 psi (340 or 550 kPa). Maximum supply pressure is 100 psi (690 kPa). To order on-off cylinder actuators, add the appropriate actuator code from the on-off column of the sizing tables to the basic valve order code. To order hydraulic actuators specify hydraulic media if other than oil.   Positioning Cylinder Actuators   BELL Cylinder Actuators are available with pneumatic or electronic positoners for throttling control. Positioners are enclosed and mounted on the superstructure. Refer to BELL bulletin 80.01-3, 80.01-4 or 10.00-5 for positioner ordering information.       Stainless Steel Superstructure   Standard superstructure is carbon steel. To order 304 stainless steel superstructure, replace "CS" code from sizing chart with "S1".   Corrosion Resistant Cylinder Construction   Corrosion resistant cylinder construction includes epoxy coating on the head, cap and gland, all of which are cast iron. The tube is fiberglass, and all fasteners are stainless steel. To order, add code "CR" to the actuator code.       Accessories   Positioners   BELL Cylinder Actuators are available with pneumatic or electronic positioners for throttling control. Positioners are enclosed and mounted on the superstructure. Refer to bulletin 80.01-3, 80.01-4 or 10.00-5 for positioner ordering information   Air Filter Regulator   The BELL Air Filter Regulator is designed to provide clean, accurate air pressure to actuators and positioners. Refer to bulletin 83.00-2 for ordering information.   Manual Loading Station Control Panel   For all positioning pneumatic actuators. Output is 0-15 psi (0-100 kPa). It includes signal output gauge and pressure reducing valve. Order as a separate iten by giving code ACC*CNP025.   Four-way Manual Control Valves   Four-way Manual Control Valves are for all pneumatic or hydraulic double-acting cylinder actuators. It is available mounted or as a separate item. To order mounted as part of a complete valve and actuator assembly, add code from table below to valve and actuator order code. To order separately, enter code ACC* fllowed by code from table below.       Position Indicating Switches   Position Indicating Switches are available for use on double-acting cylinder actuators. Order as a part of a complete valve/actuator assembly by adding the appropriate code from the table below to the valve and actuator order code. Two switeches will automatically be set to indicate full open and full closed positions.     Speed Control Valves   Speed Control Valves are available for controlling valve opening or closing with pneumatic actuators. The speed of operation is adjustable. To order mounted, add the appropriate code to the valve and actuator order code.      Four-way Solenoid Valves   Solenoid valves may be ordered mounted and piped as part of a complete valve/actuator assembly or thay can be ordered as a separate item. Refer to BELL bulletin 84.00-1 for information.       Electric Motor Actuators   BELL Knife Gate Valves can be furnished with electric motor actuators including Limitorque Auma, Rotork, E.I.M and others. They may be specified with cast iron, ductile iron or aluminum housing and in a variety of electric characteristics.       Ordering   When ordering electric motor actuators, specify valves order code, shutoff pressure, service conditions - flowing media and installation direction; type of application; NEMA rating - 4, 7, submersible, etc.; electrical characteristics - voltage and phase; actuator accessories and controls as per specification requirements.       About Me
