Product Introduction:

Autogenous tumbling mill is a new type of mill with the combination of crushing and grinding, mainly applied in ore concentration industry. Currently, what is widely used is wet autogenous tumbling mill. The most characteristic is that it can directly feed raw ores or those being primarily crushed. Generally, materials are fed according to a certain ratio of grade. It can grind materials to -0.074mm with the content of more than 20%-50%. The size reduction ratio reaches to 4000-5000, which is a dozen of times more than that of the ball mill and rod mill. It uses materials as the medium and achieves crushing by mutual impact and grinding. Thus, it`s also called no-medium mill.

Working Principle:



When the autogenous tumbling mill runs, ores will rotate with the drum and will turn pressure into tension soon with the incremental position. Ores will leave from the drum and fall down when the gravity overcomes the centrifugal force. However, the path of falling is different. Because of large gravity, large materials will firstly slide down while small particles will impact and grind and then move backward the center of the drum. Medium ores will fall and roll down to form fall zone after grinding. Small ores will fall down along the trajectory of parabola to form waterfall zone. At this time, materials are ground into fine particles by the impact and smaller materials will float out of the slurry. To sum up, with the rotation of the drum and continuous repetition, ores are crushed and ground by the impact, grinding and pressure. Qualified products will be discharged through the grate.
