This product is designed for the determination of penetration of viscous petroleum asphalts, viscous bituminous shale, liquid petroleum asphalts, as well as pavement petroleum asphalts, modified asphalts, liquid petroleum asphalt distillation residues and emulsified asphalt evaporation residues. The apparatus uses advanced digital display displacement sensor, and microprocessor-developed asphalt penetration measuring instrument, which enables high degree of automation, and easy operation, thus improving test accuracy, the apparatus is also provided with printer interface (optional).
