Classical MIG/MAG Mode, “ CO2”
In classic mode, MIG / MAG welding is carried out in inert gas with automatic wire feed. Pulse MIG welding mode, “ PMIG ”
PMIG enables getting high quality aluminum products. In this mode, on the main current will be superimposed transient current pulses and providing a rapid melting of the wire. As a result, the metal has no nodules. The MIG pulse also carries out a crushing crystals melt zone and form a tight seam quality. In addition, all the impurities are blown out of the weld pool. Adjustable heat input improves the quality of welding thin-walled metals. This prevents overheating of the aluminum to ensure the metal does not warp. It also decreases spatters and improves geometry and appearance of the weld joint. Double Pulse MIG welding mode, “ DPMIG ”
DPMIG is the main feature of the Topwell ALUMIG-250P Double pulse Synergic. During the welding process, there are superimposed with the two levels of the pulse current on the arc current. The high pulse period "drives" welding and "drops" in the melt zone, and the low period makes it possible to cool the metal to avoid distortions and sags. This ensures full control and temperature control in the zone of the arc, which ensures perfect welding "stacked-dime" seam, as same as in a time-consuming TIG welding. In the Double Pulse mode, it is available for setting the pulse duration of the operating cycle with high current in the range of 10% to 90%. This ensures optimal heat input and perfect transfer, which improves the quality of the weld. Special 4T Mode, “ S4T ”
It’s a special mode for welding aluminum - S4T. At the initial moment of the welding cycle, it is available to set the "hot start", which is activated by pressing the torch trigger. Since cold aluminum rapidly removes heat from the welding zone, S4T mode with a "Hot Start" allows you to start welding directly on the cold metal, without heating the work piece up to the operating temperature. After starting the arc, it automatically turns to the mode of 4T. To prevent the formation of inclusions, cracks and cavities at the starting and ending points, Topwell ALUMIG 250P Dpulse Synergic has PRE GAS and POST GAS, which form a blowing inert gas zone before andafter welding. Separately setting each process is available, which is not unimportant. Avoid Crater, “ END ” “End” function allows to automatically reduce the magnitude of the current at the end of the welding process to obtain a perfect weld without end crater. Synergetic control algorithm greatly simplifies the process of setting up the welder. Thus the welder is enough to choose the diameter and material of the wire depending on the thickness and kinds of the base metal. Other parameters will be automatically selected by the welder itself. With Built-in database of different welding conditions, it don’t need to adjust every parameters. You could only set the current, then will pick up the rest of the system itself.
