About Alloy C276
Alloy C276 has a high nickel content and is not affected by chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. The high molybdenum and chromium content allows the alloy to perform in oxidizing, non-oxidizing and mixed acid media while exhibiting excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The addition of tungsten inhibits the formation of pits. Finally, C276 is suitable for offshore applications where resistance to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) stress corrosion cracking is critical.

In aggressive or corrosive environments, when other alloys fail, many companies turn to C276 alloy—one of the most corrosion-resistant alloys on the market.
