FG60:thickening agent in acid fracturing process
(Temperature-controlled variable-viscosity acid system)
I. Product info:
The specificity of this product is that its viscosity rises when the temperature does. It relies on the reaction between thickening agents and cross-linked agents at different temperatures, resulting in different viscosities. It means that with the rise of temperature (when injected in the reservoirs) its viscosity rises, especially when the temperature is between 60 to 90Cent.. This cross-link reaction takes place in 5 to 10 minutes. The rise of viscosity prevents filtration loss and delays the reaction between acid and rocks.

II. Characteristics:
1) Good rheological & thermal stability
0.8%FG60+0.6%JL60+20%HCL acid fracture fluid system is suitable for 120centi. reservoir. The following chart I is the rheological curve of acid gel (FG60+0.6%JL60+20%HCL) in RV20Rotational viscometer, in 25Cent. condition, the viscosity is 25mPa.s, and after 5-10minutes, it crosslinked and can be hanged with glass rod in 60~90 centi. condition, the viscosity can be reached to 100mPa.s, in 120 cent., the viscosity remains 10-20mPa.s.

2) Good retarding performance
Test showed that the retarding rate of FG60 fluid system high-temp. gel is more than 50% compared with white acid .
3) Excellent fluid loss reducing property
FG60 acid gel viscosity can be reached more than 100mPa.s when temperature rises to 60~90°C condition, it greatly reduced the fluid loss, good for acid gel for deep-penetrating, guaranteed the reaction of acid gel with reservoir rock.
4) Superior performance and compatibility
It can mix with inhibitor, demulsifier, iron ion stabilizer, anti-swelling agent, soluble to water or acid.
5) Acid gel is of good flowback capability
The residual acid gel still have certain viscosity after reacted with reservior, normally it's  5-10 mPa.s, it's good for the flowback of the insoluble rocks and other fragments, greatly reduced the damage to the reservoir.
6) Superior performance and compatibility
It can mix with inhibitor, demulsifier, iron ion stabilizer, anti-swelling agent, soluble to water or acid.

ATTN:FG60 acid fracture fluid system is strictly prohibited to be mixed with aldehydes.

VI. Using method:
1) FG 60 polymer shall be kept in a dry & cool place.It should be mixed with acid before using, no "fish-eyes" and don't heat the acid during the preparation process.
2) If prepared the solution indoors, can use stirrer and add the polymer powder along the whirlpool to avoid "fish-eyes".
3) Dissolving time is 1hr max.
4) The crosslinker JL60 shall be  transported in sealed & stored in cool place, metering pump pumped on site application.
