Product Features

• HY-SLK absorbable hemostat is made from purified
  natural fiber cellulose, which is oxidized and etherized. It is soluble in
  water, saline and blood, insoluble in alcohol.
  
• The product has good biocompatibility and high safety, it can be used in a wide
  range of situations which include but not limited to surgical operation, wounds,
  burns. It features instant hemostasis, promote wound healing, prevent
  post-operative adhesion.
  
• Proven Bactericidal Properties:
  Experiments indicated that HY-SLK
  absorbable hemostat can selectively inhibit bacterial growth, reduce the
  incidence of would infection.
  
  
• Optimal adherence: Once HY-SLK contacts with blood, its fabric-like matrix
  conforms to all wound surfaces and it swells up quickly and produces a colloid
  after absorbing water, covering the wound and blocking the end of blood

  synthesized from a purified plant polymer and free of all biological components.
  As such it is non-collagen, non-Bovine Derived, non-hemolytic and no fever

Product Functions

Stop Bleeding Instantly (Physiological, Physical and Chemical Hemostatic)

• HY-SLK has good hemostatic properties. Once contact
  with blood, the product will carry a great number of  anions which activate the coagulation factor
  XII, promote the intrinsic coagulation system to speed up formation of
  prothrombins. After consolidation with fibrin-stabilizing factors (Factor XII)
  and under the effect of prothrombins, the fibrinogen is dissolved in water to
  form insoluble fibrin polymer that physiologically stop
  bleeding.
  
• HY-SLK also has the function of coagulating the
  platelets. When the silk dissolves, then adheres to the thrombocyte and makes
  the red blood cells collect and activate the blood coagulation factor to
  facilitate forming the thrombus, to chemically stop bleeding.
  
• When contacts with wound, the HY-SLK swells up
  quickly and produces a colloid after absorbing water, covering the would and
  blocking the end of blood capillary, so as to stop bleeding
  physically.
  
• The combination of
  physiological, physical and chemical haemostatic features gives HY-SLK
  absorbable hemostat an excellent therapeutic haemostatic
  effect.

Prevent Postoperative Adhesions

• Mechanism of action: After dissolving, HY-SLK forms
  polysaccharide polymer, which can effectively isolate tissue, and reduce release
  of inflammatory mediators, prevent cell infiltration, restrain fiber cell
  formation, reduce fibin production, promote its absorption, thus can effectively
  prevent postoperative adhesion.
  
• Clinical observation
  proven that HY-SLK's effect of preventing adhesion is significantly better than
  similar products (P<0.05), animal testing also confirmed that the product is
  very effective on preventing postoperative adhesion.

Promote Wound Healing

• The particular amino acid composition of HY-SLK can accelerate wound healing.
  
• After dissolving, the
  product carry negative charge, can stimulate cell growth, accelerate tissue
  healing, and it degrade as monosaccharides, which can be used by the tissue, the
