Product description
MEGATRO offers 46KV Steel H-Frame structures that can be used
for electric sub-transmission or transmission applications in a range of
lengths and sizes. MEGATRO H-Frames weigh considerably a little heavier less
than traditional wood structures and are easier to transport and install. Wood
structures are susceptible to rot, insect attack and deterioration that require
costly maintenance and replacement. MEGATRO 46KV steel H-frames are engineered
with an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio. The poles can be quickly
deployed with minimal hardware and labor, factory drilled to customer
specifications or modified in the field, if required, using a carbide-tip bit.
In general, this type of pole fabricated with mild steel or high strength
steel, such as ASTM A36, ASTM A572 GR50, 65, Q235B, Q345B, S355JO, S355JR,
ST37, ST52, BS 50B or other.
MEGATRO 46KV Steel H-Frame structures systems can accommodate a variety of
cross-arm and other accessories. After
fabrication46KV Steel H-Frame structures are delivered to the galvanizing
facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. 46KV Steel H-Frame structures are processed
through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These
strict procedures insure years of maintenance free H-frame structure.
